At the moment, only the second beta version of Opera Mini 5 is compatible with the Storm 2. But I gotta tell ya, even for a beta version it runs quickly and smoothly. A huuuuge difference from the Blackberry browser for sure

i’ve checked out both phone in a vodafone shop (germany). i actually liked the storm2 much better because of its haptic feedback. there where only two things i did not like: the pretty slow browser an the 3.5mm jack on the side. does anyone know if there is a opera version supporting blackberry os?

Thanks god im not in the church, cause im LMAO,
Well, I do want a Amazon Kindle DX, I live in Mexico, I’ll get one when I go to san francisco, or probably the “nook” from Barnes & noble. Cause I own thousands of ebooks, that’s why I would prefer a storm 2 in the mean time, Amazon released a kindle for bb.

@morpho4444 haha saw it.. iPad.. what a name huh? didn’t think it was all that great.. I think I’d look ridiculous walking around town with it.. I’ll save my money for a iTampon or something.

oh that means you wont fall for the ridiculous iPad and its huge screen LOL

@morpho4444 not yet.. they are working on a mobile flash version but i’m not really tripping about it. I was looking at the BB but what got me with the droid was the google navigation.. then I noticed how much higher the resolution was compared to my ipod touch.. I no longer need the ipod touch nor do I care to browse with it.

Does your browser support flash?

@morpho4444
Well.. i receive my e-mails in a timely manner… i suppose it’s all about preference.. you place importance on e-mail and I respect that.. I got your response via droid (gmail) as soon as you posted.
Comment by jpride007 — February 2, 2010 @ 1:35 am
Yeah, but you are not as rush as when it comes to receive an email right away.
I mean, you browse most of the time for entertaiment purposes I believe.

@spirg Never used a BB but i’ve had no issues receiving e-mail on my droid. However you do need a google account when you get your droid but you’re also able to sync other accounts like hotmail or corporate mail. overall it’s a good phone once you get used to it.

@morpho4444
what about those times you’re not receiving any e-mail- meaning downtime and you just want to browse the net?

-no one beats blackberry on email.. which is a huge one!!!!!!!!!!
you dont realize it yet but think about it. You are not as hurry for browsing as for email reception. It is more important email than browsing..
